Change what a saved view shows — its filters, its sort, its columns, how it renders.
Patches a saved view. Only the fields you pass change; everything else is left alone. filters and columns REPLACE what the view had rather than merging into it — read the view first with List Table Views and send the whole list you want, or you will silently drop the filters you did not mention.
When to use
Section titled “When to use”Use to narrow a view to what someone actually wants to see, reorder or hide its columns, change its sort, or rename it — the same edits a person makes on the table page.
When not to use
Section titled “When not to use”To change the ROWS, use Update Record — this changes the lens, not the data behind it. To build a new lens rather than reshape an existing one, create the view on the table page first; this only patches one that exists.
