Create Map

Module · Stable

Put a table’s rows on a map, one pin per row, each opening to the row’s details.

Creates a saved view of the table drawn as pins. The coordinate columns are the ones you name or, left out, the ones the column names point to (lat/lon, latitude/longitude). A table with no coordinates is refused with the fix: add a Geocode step to the flow that fills it. The map is not on a board yet — pass its view_id to Add Dashboard Tile.

Use when the question is WHERE — ‘put the pubs on a map’, ‘show today’s deliveries on a map’.

For how many per place, a bar chart per town says it more precisely — use Create Chart.

Configured per use: table_slug, name, lat_column, lon_column.

  • view_id
  • name
  • lat_column
  • lon_column
  • url
