Update Chart

Change an existing chart — its shape, its axis, its series, how it reads.
Patches a chart. Only the fields you pass change. options merges into what the chart already has, so you can set one key without restating the rest; x, series and filters REPLACE what the chart had, so send the whole list you want. The chart comes back as it now is. Every board showing it shows the change.
When to use
Section titled “When to use”Use to reshape a chart someone already has — switch bars to a line, group by week instead of day, add a target line, split a series.
When not to use
Section titled “When not to use”To make a new chart, use Create Chart. To move a chart on a board or take it off, use the dashboard tile tools — this changes the chart everywhere it appears.
