List Data Products

Module · Stable

List the workspace’s data products: what each one answers, who owns it, example questions and what its columns mean.

A data product is a table that has introduced itself with a manifest: a one-line purpose, an owner (a role), 2-3 example questions, the meaning of each column, a trust scheme (status / validity / authoritative / none) and a write policy. This returns every data product’s manifest, so an agent can decide which ones the case in front of it needs before looking anything up.

Call first, before Look Up Data Product, to find out which products exist and which one answers the question — instead of guessing a table, or reading every table on every run.

To list the rows of an ordinary (non-product) table use List Records. To read rows of a product, use Look Up Data Product.
