Log in to Routario

Routario runs in your browser. You sign in at your workspace’s web address — the one your administrator set up (for example yourcompany.routario.com) or the address of your self-hosted Routario. If you’re not sure what it is, ask whoever invited you.

Getting access for the first time

You don’t create your own Routario account — an administrator invites you. When they do, you’ll get an invitation email with a link.

1. Open the email and click Accept invitation.
2. Choose a password. It must be at least 12 characters — longer is better; a short phrase works well.
3. You’re in. From now on you sign in with your username and that password.

No invite yet?

If you need access, ask your Routario administrator to invite you from Settings → Users. If your invite link has expired, they can resend it.

Signing in

1. Go to your Routario web address. You’ll land on the sign-in screen.
2. Enter your username and password.
3. Select Sign in.

You’ll arrive at your Inbox — your home base for what needs your attention.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Your workspace may require two-factor authentication for extra security. If it does:

• The first time you sign in, Routario walks you through enrolling an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, and similar). Scan the QR code with the app.
• After that, each sign-in asks for the current 6-digit code from your app, right after your password.

You can manage 2FA later under Settings → Security, where you can re-enroll a new device or turn it off (if your workspace allows it).

Forgot your password?

1. On the sign-in screen, select Forgot password.
2. Enter your email. If an account matches, Routario emails you a reset link.
3. Follow the link and choose a new password (again, at least 12 characters).

The reset link is single-use and expires, so use the most recent email if you requested more than one.

Locked out?

To protect your account, Routario locks it after 5 failed sign-in attempts in a row. If that happens:

• Wait for the lock to clear, or
• Ask your administrator to unlock the account (and reset your password or 2FA if needed) from Settings → Users.

Wrong 2FA codes count too

Incorrect two-factor codes count toward the same 5-attempt limit. If your codes aren’t working, check that your phone’s clock is set to update automatically — authenticator codes are time-based.

Managing your account

Once you’re in, two places under Settings cover your account:

• Profile — your display name, avatar, and the language Routario speaks to you in.
• Security — change your password, manage two-factor authentication, and see (or sign out) every device signed in to your account.
