Detach Document

Take a filed document off its record. The document stays in Memory.
Takes one filing off one record. Nothing is deleted: the document stays in Memory and on any other record it is filed on, and the filing keeps who took it off and when. Detaching one already detached changes nothing.
When to use
Section titled “When to use”When a document was filed on the wrong record, or is superseded — attach the new version first, then detach the old one.
When not to use
Section titled “When not to use”There is no way to delete a document here, deliberately.
