Read the EIA register
Module · Stable
Read the Czech environmental-impact register and return the residential developments still recent enough to approach, each with the investor’s name and registration number.
A large Czech development is assessed for environmental impact BEFORE it is permitted, and the register that records it is an archive going back to 2002 rather than a thirty-day window like a noticeboard. Two things follow. It can answer what happened last year, which no noticeboard can. And because assessment precedes permitting, a project that appears here is heading into design — which is when a supplier can still be written into it.
It also names the oznamovatel with its IČO. A building-permit notice names whoever applied, routinely a contractor or a single-purpose company, and almost never says who is behind it; here the investor is a column, ready for Business Register to follow upwards.
Most of the register is not worth reading: terminated projects, and projects assessed long enough ago that they are either built or never will be, and work on buildings that already exist — an insulation job matches every residential word there is. All three are filtered out by default — max_age_years and exclude_terms is the knob, include_dead the escape hatch. counts reports what each test rejected, so a filter that is too tight is visible rather than merely quiet.
When to use
Section titled “When to use”Use to seed or backfill a pipeline of large residential developments with history a noticeboard cannot give you, or to reach projects in municipalities whose board publishes no open data. Pair it with Business Register on the returned IČO to find the group behind a project company.
When not to use
Section titled “When not to use”Not a substitute for reading noticeboards: the register only holds developments large enough to need environmental assessment, so it misses the whole 30-to-100-dwelling band that boards do carry. It is also not a feed — it changes slowly, so reading it more than weekly tells you nothing new.
Inputs
Section titled “Inputs”Configured per use: country, topic_terms, exclude_terms, max_age_years, include_dead, limit.
Outputs
Section titled “Outputs”Auto-generated from the skill registry (load_skills()). Do not edit by hand.
