Read public tenders

Module · Stable

Read public buyers’ tenders: deadline, documents, winner and price, open tenders’ documentation stored in Memory.

Every Czech public buyer — a municipality, a city district, a school, a council-owned property company — must publish its tenders on a registered buyer profile, and every profile must also serve them as XML in one national format. So the profiles are a feed, however many different portals host them. This step reads every buyer on the workspace watchlist, keeps the tenders you ask for — construction works by default — and returns each with its bid deadline, a link a person can open, every published document, the number of bids and, once it is awarded, the winner and the contract price. The XML never states the ESTIMATED value of a tender that is still open; that sits in the tender documentation, which this step stores in Memory as document_ref so an Extract step can read it. Every tender carries a stable source_key, so rows keyed on it update instead of duplicating. A buyer that cannot be read is named in failures, never silently skipped.

Use on a schedule to find tenders worth bidding on: follow it with a Map step over tenders, an Extract step on each document_ref with the cz_public_tender recipe to read the estimated value, scope and qualification, and Create record keyed on source_key. Daily is right for open tenders — a bid window is often under six weeks. Turn on design tenders to see a building months before its construction tender: a buyer commissions the design first.

It does not tell you what a tender is WORTH while it is open — pair it with Extract. For announcements that are not tenders (permits, land sales) use Read official noticeboards. To fetch one known page, use HTTP Fetch.

Configured per use: within_days, since, kinds, open_only, include_design_tenders, title_terms, exclude_terms, limit, fetch_documents, max_documents, buyers, buyers_table, places.
